#51-129

Late 18th early 19th century Edo period Kiku chrysanthemum painting on gold. It has old water stains, a repaired tear in front, a repaired base and a few tears on back side, none of which detracts from the delicate, elegant painting of the white chrysanthemums. There are a few crimson flowers also. The two panel screen can stand by itself or me hung on the wall. Opened up it is approximately five feet square. It is a handsome antique Japanese painting.
