This almost 15 foot table was part of a Holy House in Todo Santos, Guatemala where the Cofradia ( a religious fraternity or sorority) would meet. This rustic table was essentially an altar table, showing old candle burns and evidence of heavy use. The top is a single board with a lovely well worn patina. There is a bench matching in length that was with it in the Cofradia that is available. Mortise and tenon construction. Sturdy and functional. This piece would do well outside under a covered porch. Early 20th c.
