Left Nino: Sleeping Nino holding a bird is a tender and bittersweet image — celebrating the innocence and divinity of Jesus as a child, but also hinting quietly at his future sacrifice to save humanity. This Nino is made from wood with a layer of gesso richly polychromed to create lifelike skin tones and details. One chipped finger and one broken toe Its gloria is made from metal and silver and is surrounded by stars. It measures 3.5x2.5x7 long
